Paris Saint Germain will encounter Celtic on home ground during the second leg of their Champions League battle. The first match ended in rather harsh numbers (0-5) for the hosts which was nothing short of impressive on PSG’s side considering how difficult a place Celtic Park usually is even for big teams.
Add to that how strong and dominant PSG usually is on their home stadium, this has all the potential to end in equally devastating if not worse numbers even if the hosts have had a match this Saturday and have an important away game scheduled next Sunday.
So far the Champions League journey has started in an ideal way for the Parisians, after 4 matches played the team has as many victories and an impressive score statistic of 17 goals scored, 0 conceded. One could almost question whether their perfect streak can continue, but today offers great chances for it.
Celtic is at 3 points with merely one victory over Anderlecht, they’ve managed to score 4 goals – including one against Bayern (although with home advantage) – but the toll travelling is bound to take and the fact the visitors are already 5-0 down are probably not going to enhance the likelihood of them scoring against a team of PSG’s calibre.
My bet is for win-to-nil, the odds are way too high. This is a rather high-risk bet however, so I’d recommend going with low unit size.
Paris Saint Germain will win to nil in ordinary time
Good luck
